A Different Kind of New Hampshire Roofing Company
I got my start in construction working alongside my father in 1998. Over the years, I’ve gained hands-on experience in nearly every aspect of the industry—from working in trenches and estimating jobs to supervising projects and eventually specializing in roofing. I’ve sold roofing projects, managed installations, and gained firsthand insight into how roofing companies operate behind the scenes. That experience has given me a well-rounded understanding of the industry, from the first customer conversation to the final installation.
I've worked for the largest roofing company in New England and later for smaller, family-owned companies. Both experiences taught me a lot about what makes a roofing company successful -- and, just as importantly, what can get lost along the way.
The larger companies often do good work. But large operations come with large overhead; offices, management layers, advertising budgets, sales teams, administrative staff, and in many cases these days, investors or shareholders expecting a return. These companies have driven up the cost of a roof considerably.
On the other hand of the spectrum, smaller companies can offer a more personal experience, but they don't always have the systems, communication, technology, or organization that homeowners expect today.
I knew there was a better way. And that's why I started RoofSmith New England.
RoofSmith New England is a locally owned New Hampshire roofing company built on a simple idea: homeowners deserve quality work, fair pricing, and personal service.
Roofing shouldn't be complicated. I started RoofSmith because I knew roofing could be done differently...

A Modern New Hampshire Roofing Company Without the Corporate Overhead
RoofSmith was built differently from the beginning. We don't maintain an expensive showroom or large corporate office. We don't have layers of management or unnecessary overhead built into every roof we sell.
Instead, we invest in the things that actually improve your roofing experience: quality materials, skilled installation, great communication, and technology that makes the entire process easier.
We embrace modern tools for roof measurements, estimating, proposals, project documentation, photos, communication, and scheduling. Technology allows us to operate efficiently, while giving homeowners a faster, simpler, and more transparent experience.
And this allows us to keep our company lean.
And when our overhead is lower, we don't need to inflate the price of your roof just to support a massive organization behind it or to pay our family members a salary without earning it.
You pay for a great roof, not an expensive office.
ROOFING DONE RIGHT
Over the years, I watched the home improvement industry change drastically.
Companies got bigger. Private equity swooped in and bought up family businesses. Marketing budgets grew. Google appeared. Sales processes became more aggressive. Prices went up. Quality went down.
And in too many cases, the most important part was lost in the process:
The homeowner.
I started RoofSmith because I wanted to get back to the fundamentals.
Do great work. Pay attention to details. Communicate. Use quality materials. Stand behind what you install. And charge a fair price for it.
That doesn't mean we're trying to be the cheapest roofer in New England. The cheapest roof is very often the most expensive in the end.
What I believe is much simpler:
A great product. A great experience. And a fair Price.
